Hatha Yoga

Hatha Yoga deals with the Asanas or the body postures to give you physical agility and strength to sit in yogic postures for a long period of time. We cover all the essential elements of Hatha Yoga including the key Asanas related to all the body parts.

Pranayama

Pranayama is one of the most crucial elements of Yoga. Prana means life, Yama means control. Hence, Pranayama essentially means controlling your breath. It has been proved that breath has a direct effect on our thoughts. Incessant thoughts lead to shortness of breath. Similarly, deep breath leads to the calmness of mind. ShatKriya

We, at Happy Yoga International, follow a well-structured schedule and ensure high standards of discipline and abstinence during the course. The course spans across 7 to 8 hours daily starting early morning until the early evening. In order to help you make the most of the course, we have designed a comprehensive curriculum with lots of learning, practice as well as self-contemplation.

The exact daily schedule is as follows:

Information and Instructions for payment procedure will be sent to you with your letter of acceptance. To reserve your seat, you need to pay US$ 100 as non-refundable deposit.
The balance of the payment may be made on Orientation Day upon arrival in Rishikesh. The Payment methods we accept are cash (Indian Rupees or US Dollars), credit card and online transfer using Paypal. Payments by online transfer may be made in any Currency.

Refund Policy

Advance course fees will not be refundable.
If the student cancels the course, we accept cancellation but advance deposit will not be refunded in cancellation.
There is no charge of course cancellation, student just has to inform by email.
All candidates are advised to compulsorily consider the time and resources for the course before sending an application for YTTC.

Course fee: $ 700
The course fee also includes accommodation, three times meals, Wi-fi, complimentary local-sightseeing.
The course will last for two weeks, including seven hours of daily teaching hours of practice, theory classes, philosophy and anatomy classes, as well as asana practice. You will also learn some advanced meditation techniques that will enhance your entire learning process.

Accommodation

We offer residential facilities to all our students, so that when they arrive here, all they do is learn, and not waste time in arranging various facilities. Our school is conveniently located in the foothills of Himalayas, at the banks of Holy River Ganges, providing the perfect milieu to learn & practice spirituality.

The rooms are equipped with all modern facilities and include a seating area, balcony with the beautiful and picturesque view of the Himalayas, attached bathroom with hot and cold shower, and Wi-Fi facility. The healthy and nutritious food is prepared with oriental spices and natural Himalayan herbs as per the Yoga guidelines. The food is completely satvic, and doesn’t contain hot spices or artificial additives.

2 How long should I practice Asanas?

A daily practice of 30 minutes to 1 hour is enough for practising Asanas. But meditation can be practised for long periods of time as per your convenience.

5 What is the suitable time for Yoga?

Early morning before sunset is considered to be the perfect time to practice Yoga. Yoga can be done in the evening after lunch having a break of 4 hours. In the evening you can have tea or juice 30 minutes before starting yoga. Yoga can also be done anytime but with the empty stomach.

6Any age limit for doing Yoga?

There is no upper or lower age limit for learning or practising Yoga. But of course, if you are physically ill, and too little to practice complex Asanas, then it is advisable not to try too hard.
